Investing in Infrastructure: Twin Oaks Awarded Federal TAP Grant

The City of Twin Oaks is proud to announce the receipt of a federal Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant, administered through East-West Gateway and MoDOT.

This investment will support a comprehensive safety and accessibility project along Meramec Station Road.

Key improvements include:

✅ New sidewalk construction

✅ Advanced traffic-calming features

✅ A mid-block crosswalk

✅ Modernized corridor lighting

By leveraging federal funds to cover 80% of eligible costs, we are able to advance the Board of Aldermen's long-term goals of enhancing pedestrian connectivity and resident safety.

The project will move through design, environmental review, public engagement, and right of way phases before construction, consistent with federal and state requirements. The City appreciates the partnership with East-West Gateway, MoDOT, and federal agencies in securing this important funding investment for the community.
