Run for election to the Board of Aldermen
Obtain candidate filing forms at City Hall or at the St. Louis County Board of Elections (BOE) office, complete and return to the BOE office at 725 Northwest Plaza Drive in St. Ann. Board of Elections staff is available to assist in completing election paperwork and answer any questions you may have about financial disclosure, campaign finance and more.
For the April 8, 2025, General Municipal Election, candidate filing begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, and ends at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024. (Note: Dates of candidate filing changed with the passage of HB271, effective August 28, 2021.)
Additional Requirements for Candidate Filing by State Law:
Candidate must file an Affidavit of Tax Payments with the Missouri Department of Revenue, and submit a copy of the completed form with the Declaration of Candidacy [§115.306 RSMo]
Candidate must file a Personal Financial Disclosure with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Candidates are subject to Campaign Finance Requirements and should consult the Missouri Ethics Commission to ensure compliance.
